  1. For the military mondays the 25% off is that good for purchase of a new bike?

military monday’s are a great opportunity to save some money on parts and acccessories.

  3. David says:

If I just found out about military monday on tuesday but need a helmet gloves and reflective vest for Saturday’s basic riding course can I still get that deal? One time only special?

  4. admin says:

Well, you need gear for the riding course! Come down with your Military ID, we will cut you a break on the timing this once. If you can risk your life for our country, the least we can do is get you great pricing on gear!! When you come in, tell them you spoke with Cal on the website. I will make sure they know to expect you. Thanks for your service!

  5. David says:

That’s fantastic. I will be there!

I do not see any disclaimer for the military discount not applying to sale items or tires. I just bought a set of tires last week on Monday but the 20% military discount was not honored. I was told they were already on sale and the discount does not apply to tires, so why can’t I see this policy reflected anywhere on your site? Seems like a bait and switch tactic.

  7. admin says:

At the bottom of the page their is a disclaimer…”*Discount does not apply to items already on sale*”

We appreciate your service and show our gratitude by discounting your purchases. We have items, such as tires that are already 30-50% off. If we were to add another 20% off to that pricing, we would be losing a lot of money. Surely we can’t be expected to lose money on a daily basis to help you out. We wouldn’t have the doors open long if we did. The idea was more to make sure you get discounting on anything you need. Overall, you save quite a bit of money with our Military Monday program. If an item is already 10% off, we can increase the discount for our military. You benefit anyway you look at it. Tires are one of the only things that the military discount doesn’t really apply to because they are already marked so low.
I think we have found a happy medium of helping you out without losing money in the process.

Does Delayed Entrance Program [DEP] Trainees Count As Getting A Discount, I Have All My Enlistment Papers And A Set Date To Leave For Basic But Not Officially Active Duty Yet…

  9. admin says:

As long as you’re fighting to protect our freedoms, we will take care of you. Just bring your DEP paperwork so our manager feels better. Thank you for your future services!

I bought the Maintenance Agreement (3 Services for $599.00). AJ in Finance knew I was in the Military and currently a cop and I was not offered any Military discount. If I knew of that I would of just paid as I service was needed. AJ said each service was $250.00. Is that true? I think I should receive a 4th service since I was not TAKEN CARE OF as you preach. Your thoughts?

  11. admin says:

I apologize for the misunderstanding. The Pre Paid Maintenance is a discounted package we offer to everyone. In this particular instance, we cannot add an additional Military discount. We offer our Military incentives and discounts everywhere we possibly can, however, with some items there is just no more room to give. We do appreciate your service and your business!

  12. Shane says:

I am a little disappointed with your service department… The service writer told me 2.5 hours and it will be done. I came back over 3 hours later and the front tire change was not started. When the writer returned from checking on the bike he told me it would be another 30 min… Not the way to treat a first time service customer… VERY POOR SERVICE!!!

  13. admin says:

    Shane,
We apologize, sometimes the service department gets so busy things fall behind. The guys up there are actually really good at what they do, unfortunately, sometimes it just can’t be helped. Please don’t judge the entire department by one incident of bad timing. We appreciate your business and hope you’ll give us another shot at working with you!

Good morning to everyone at the Fun Bike Center!

I’ve been searching for a new riding jacket that meets military requirements for on-base safety guidelines & when I came across your site & read about the 20% discount for the military on Mondays, I wanted to say thank you in advance for providing such a great deal. I’ll be sure to make my way down there to check out your jackets!

  15. Shawn says:

Do we get 25% off on Military Monday’s, plus 20% with our Military ID on mondays for a grand total of 45%? or is it either or?

  16. admin says:

Military Mondays is up to 20% off. Standard military discount is less. It is an either or situation. We don’t have enough room in the product for 45% discounts, we would lose a lot of money. Mondays is just another way for us to say Thanks! to our Military personnel.

  17. Mitchell says:

I seen that there is a discount on oil changes not including parts (oil & filter) for military, now is that everyday or just on the Mondays? Also I’m prior service now a dependent, does dependent and/or dd214 work for the discount and/or have the wife flash her active duty I’d to get the discount, since bike is in her name and mine?

  18. Houston says:

Just wanted to say Thanks to everything ya’ll do for us as service members. I shop with you guys for everything from parts to oil.. and always am treated well. so once again thank you.

  19. admin says:

Thanks for your loyalty…and of course, for your service!

  20. admin says:

The discount is everyday. Any DOD id will work for the discounting. If you have any questions, call Brad or Brent in our service department, they can get you set up with an appointment!

  21. RF says:

Can a police officer take advantage of the military monday discount?

  22. admin says:

You actually have your own day! Fire and Police Wednesday! Come in and save!

  23. Josh says:

Does the discount work on special orders or just products in stock?

  24. admin says:

The 20% discount is for items in stock. Special orders are 10 to 15% depending on what it is.
